We have since found photographic evidence that the building was built prior to a devastating fire in 1914 that took out the entire bay front. The damage may have been so extensive that the home was re-built and thus the records show that it was built in 1917. Mr. Diskmuits was the first president of the First Florida National Bank. Mrs. Diskmuits is one of the reasons that St. Augustine still has it’s coquina City Gates. The city was going to tear down the gates in the name of progress.

Born during a bar fight in Devlin, Ireland, Reilly came into this world swinging. The first day of his life, he lost an eye, took a man’s life, and developed an insatiable appetite for whiskey. With more than 4 stars on all the review sites, our customers, speak very highly of our beers, food and mostly the warm service. The walls of the pub are covered by over 70 paintings by noted Irish portrait painter Neil Boyle. These portraits depict both notable Irish figures and longtime Molly Malone’s patrons and staff. He quickly organized a gang of misfits known as the Black Eye Society and took over the routes of the nation’s milkmen.
